Michael Foreman

Attorney

Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University, where he played midfield for the Baylor Lacrosse team, was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and met his wife, a Huntsville native, Brittany.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Michael chose to attend Baylor University School of Law where he was on the Baylor Law Review, the school’s National Mock Trial Competition Team, and Dean’s List. During this time, Michael also interned for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the honorable Judge John Gargiulo in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.

Known for its rigorous Practice Court program, Baylor’s law school opened Michael’s eyes and sparked a passion for being in a courtroom. After graduation, Michael worked at a law firm in Richmond, Texas, where he handled practice areas such as personal injury, eminent domain, real estate transactions and just about anything in between. After several years in Richmond, Michael moved to defense cases, to understand the different perspective, as a trial attorney for Geico.

Michael spent four years as a trial attorney for Geico, where he gained valuable knowledge and experience. “The first year I worked at Geico, I kept track of how many hearings, depositions, trials, and mediations I handled. But at some point, I think around 200 depositions, I stopped keeping track,” says Michael with a laugh. “But honestly, I always knew I would come back to the plaintiff’s side of things once I gained the experience.”

Michael and Brittany always had a goal of settling down in Huntsville and building a house on acreage. When they found themselves suddenly working from home in 2020, Michael and Brittany decided it was time to make the move. Michael wanted to serve in the community that he was now a part of, so while talking to his wife Brittany about transitioning from Geico, she mentioned that Haney Paschal & Romoser has a great reputation and a lot of Baylor lawyers. Michael called Jeremy (Romoser) and told him that he’d love to be a part of what they’re doing. And the rest is history.

Michael’s practice focuses on personal injury, contract and property disputes, trusts and estates, and family law. In his free time, Michael likes to hunt, fish, golf, or spend time with Brittany riding their horses.
