Carissa Booth

Legal Assistant

Carissa grew up in Sealy, Texas, and graduated from Sealy High School in 2013. Following high school, she moved to San Angelo, Texas to attend Angelo State University. After welcoming her first child, Gracie, Carissa relocated to Huntsville to be closer to family and continued her education at Sam Houston State University.

During her time at Sam Houston State University, Carissa completed an internship with the Walker County Community Supervision and Corrections Department. Upon completion of the internship, she graduated in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

Soon after graduating, Carissa joined Haney Paschal & Romoser, P.C. as a legal assistant. Since joining the firm, she has gained valuable experience while working with the attorneys on a wide range of cases. Currently, she focuses on assisting with probate matters, civil litigation, criminal cases, and real estate transactions.

Carissa and her husband, Nick, are the proud parents of two children, Gracie and Kyler. Outside of work, Carissa enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, and being active outdoors.
