David W. Moorman is an attorney with the law firm of Haney.Moorman.Paschal, P.C. A 1986 Huntsville High School graduate, David attended Texas A & M University and graduated with a B.S. cum laude in 1990. In 1993, David received his law degree from Baylor University. After he completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Paul Brown, United States District Judge from 1993-1995, David practiced primarily insurance defense and medical malpractice defense from 1995-1998 in Sherman, Texas.
He returned to Huntsville in February 1998 and has been engaged in the general practice of law since that time. David has tried diverse cases, both bench and jury trials, since returning to Huntsville, Texas. David has completed training to serve as a Mediator in the State of Texas and is available for mediation. A lifetime member of the Walker County Fair Association, he previously served as President. David has previously served as an Executive Board Member for Huntsville/Walker County Chamber of Commerce, and as a Board Member of the Huntsville Family YMCA, Huntsville Education Foundation, City of Huntsville Beautification Advisory Committee, and President of the Huntsville High School Golf Booster Club. David previously served as President of the Walker County Young Lawyers and Walker County Bar Association.
David is married to Christie and they have one child, Cason Garner Moorman.
